It's a surprisingly relaxed day, in comparison to the past couple of super-hectic weeks! I actually am not meeting anyone today, so I've been working from home! But of course, there is still work to be done behind the scenes like I mentioned yesterday!

For example, I've been steadily cleaning up member profiles – some were written solely in English or Japanese, which meant that it was much less accessible to a number of gentlemen on both sides! Yup, translation is a big part of my job too…!

With these changes and refreshments to profiles, sugar babies, I hope that it helps to increase the number of dates! Some Japanese gentlemen have a basic/conversational level of English, or vice versa, which makes it more difficult for them to understand parts of the profiles and make a decision on whether or not to date…

I still really need to brush up on my Japanese though, as the translations are currently rather difficult for me and I have to keep looking up words or phrases, and make sure that whatever I'm saying actually makes sense, especially in Japanese! It's definitely easier to edit something in your native language (English) than your third language… I sure wish I was capable of more so I wouldn't have to rely on a dictionary as much!

I mean, I've gone to Japan for holidays 4 times before, and was even planning my 5th trip in October (until Covid struck…), but I've gotten by with the help of friends and conversational Japanese. This time… I'm using much more business-level Japanese, and have probably spoken in Japanese way more than I ever have when I went on vacation 😂
