Writing has always been one of my greatest passions, ever since I was a little kid. Pardon me for bragging, but as a kid, I was one of those whose compositions would get photocopied and distributed to the class as model compositions, and I was always made the class rep for English class, LOL. I always had my head buried in a book or notepad!

Now, writing is a huge part of my job as well. It's not just these blogs that I have to write, you know – it's also all the members' profiles and information, and thinking about how best to bring out each lady's charms. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but there's no way you can really tell one's personality and hobbies from a mere photo!

In my old job at a local SME, I also did copywriting for the company's website and social media pages. In fact, there was a whole website revamp in the last few months of my employment there and I rewrote a huge majority of information on the website. It was a mammoth task, undergoing tons of revisions to be perfected! I think that really helped to polish my current writing skills, making sure that I can convey information in an interesting and engaging way.

Why do I bring this up? Well, during my break earlier today, I was chatting to a couple of ex-colleagues, who are now my close friends. They told me how they had gotten a lot of positive comments about the revamp, and that I had made the new social media manager's job much easier with the tone and examples I had set with my copywriting! It was a surprise to hear because I hadn't really expected such a positive reaction, and if anything I had been really troubled over how good my work was back then.

This then made me feel really really motivated, wondering what were other things I could do better with my time in Universe Club! I want to be able to deliver engaging content and interact positively with all our members, making sure that everyone has a great time being a member. It's my job as a concierge staff after all, and I am very grateful to everybody who has shown me such amazing support!
