How are you doing? I was in extremely crowded train to come to our office in Ebisu, Tokyo due to snowing.

I hope everyone have been spending a very wonderful day. Well, we have two festivals, which are Setsubun and Valentine’s Day in February.

Today I am going to talk about Setsubun a little bit in this blog since I am having a lot of fun to celebrating Setsubun festival.

Oniwa Soto, Fukuwa Uchi

 

Setsubun is held on February 3rd. Japanese people exorcise evil sprits and wish happiness is coming. Japanese people say, “Oniwa Soto and Fukuwa Uchi”, that means “Bad luck out, Good luck in.”

Japanese people throw beans with saying these words.

This is one of the Japanese culture form long time ago.

Everyone wants to be happy and wishes to have fortunes. Our UC members enroll to Universe Club to find their fortunes. I am thankful to work at UC because UC members bring a lot of happiness for us.
